The Partnerships team works to scale Pew’s impact in the world by building an engaged community of partners and mobilizing resources to advance our vital work. As an officer on Pew’s Partnerships team, you'll be at the forefront of building fundraising and partnership support for three key programmatic areas: Government Performance (GP), Philadelphia projects, and Scientific Advancement (GPS). These areas have been strategically combined due to their overlapping agendas and interdependencies, creating a portfolio that promotes cross-promotion with current and prospective donors. Under the guidance of the team director, you’ll establish relationships both internally and externally, using metrics and ROI to meet key programmatic deliverables. To be successful, you'll need to have strong relationship-building skills, be adept at setting priorities and anticipating needs, have the discretion to handle confidential information, and the ability to quickly learn Pew and Partnerships' systems. As you become knowledgeable in all facets of Partnerships, you'll lead and support ongoing and special projects between your focus area and Partnerships more broadly as needed. Your responsibilities will evolve in line with Partnerships’ and the institution’s growth and needs. This position is based in Pew’s Washington, DC office, reports to the director, Partnerships, GPS, and will participate in Pew’s hybrid work program with core days in the office and the flexibility to telework the remaining days. Staff also enjoy four telework “flex weeks” per year.
