About The Position

Mobile Air & Power Rentals is a leading provider of temporary heating, cooling, dehumidification, and power solutions. We support customers across a wide range of industries by providing reliable equipment, responsive service, and customized solutions to meet critical operational needs. As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President of Operations to provide leadership and direction across our branch and depot operations.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, a technical discipline, or a related field required.
Minimum of 10 years of progressive management and leadership experience.
Demonstrated experience leading operations within a multi-location organization.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop high-performing teams.
Proven ability to lead large-scale, multi-location operations.
Strong strategic thinking and business acumen.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Strong financial acumen with the ability to understand budgets, operational expenses, financial performance, and return on investment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple functional areas and levels of the organization.
Ability to develop and execute long-term operational strategies.
Strong understanding of customer needs, market trends, and business drivers.
Working knowledge of ERP platforms, business systems, and information technology.
Ability to effectively manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, growing organization.

Nice To Haves

Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
Experience within the HVAC or equipment rental industry.
Knowledge of heating, cooling, and temporary climate-control equipment.
Experience supporting business expansion, facility growth, and organizational scaling.
Experience with manufacturing, production management, equipment rental, industrial services, HVAC, or a related industry strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic leadership and direction for Mobile Air & Power Rentals branch and depot operations.
Drive the cost-effective execution of operations while maintaining high standards of quality, service, safety, and customer support.
Develop and monitor operational metrics that provide insight into efficiency, productivity, cost management, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
Establish, manage, and monitor operational expenses across responsible functions.
Support branch and facility expansion initiatives in alignment with the company’s organic growth strategy.
Identify growth opportunities, operational improvements, and cost efficiencies and develop effective business cases to support necessary investments and resources.
Lead operational forecasting and assist with the development of monthly and annual budgets.
Drive product improvements and support the development of new HVAC products and solutions.
Provide leadership for company safety initiatives and ensure safety policies, procedures, and practices are consistently implemented across business locations and field operations.
Ensure performance management and employee development processes are effectively implemented across the operations organization.
Coach, mentor, and develop operational leaders to strengthen performance, accountability, and succession planning.
Partner closely with senior leadership and ownership to develop both short- and long-term operational and company-wide strategies.
Collaborate across departments to ensure operational initiatives support broader business objectives.
Perform additional duties as required to support the continued growth and success of the organization.
