Vice President, Lead Software Engineer
About The Position
Morgan Stanley Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Vice President, Lead Software Engineer in Alpharetta, GA to deliver robust, loosely coupled stack of run-time API / Microservices to facilitate common Wealth Management business processes across multiple channels. Design and develop foundational business services and components across all Wealth Management computer systems. Develop API models, adhering to industry best practices and SOAP/REST/ Microservices design paradigms. Build cloud- ready interfaces to support CI/CD across multiple channel consumers. Utilize experience with API security standards and implementation. Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field of study.
- Five (5) years of experience in the position offered or five (5) years as an Associate, IT Analyst, System Engineer, or a closely related occupation.
- Five (5) years of experience with .Net, .Net Core, and .NET Framework.
- Five (5) years of experience with C#.
- Five (5) years of experience with Micro services.
- Five (5) years of experience with XML.
- Five (5) years of experience with WSDL.
- Five (5) years of experience with Json.
- Five (5) years of experience with Visual Studio.
- Five (5) years of experience with Javascript.
- Five (5) years of experience with Web Services and APIs.
- Five (5) years of experience with Swagger.
- Five (5) years of experience with Messaging platforms including Kafka and IBM MQ.
- Five (5) years of experience with Threading.
- Five (5) years of experience with SQL Server.
- Five (5) years of experience with High Availability Disaster Recovery (HADR) database.
- Five (5) years of experience with Azure.
- Five (5) years of experience with Docker.
- Five (5) years of experience with Kubernetes.
- Five (5) years of experience with Python.
- Five (5) years of experience building high concurrency, low latency, and 24/7 availability applications.
Responsibilities
