About The Position

The Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) Vice President of Infrastructure & Operational Support Services provides executive leadership for the infrastructure and operational support capabilities that enable WWP teams to deliver meaningful experiences and support to warriors, families, and supporters. The role leads enterprise strategy and service delivery across the Real Estate & Workplace, Facilities, Office Services, Travel & Events, and Procurement teams. In close partnership with Program senior leadership and other organizational stakeholders, the Vice President aligns these services with organizational needs, optimizes the use of donor resources, and maintains quality, accessibility, safety, and service excellence.

Requirements

  • Twelve years of progressively responsible experience leading complex, enterprise-wide operations, real estate, facilities, procurement, travel, safety, or shared services.
  • Ten years of experience overseeing a broad, multi-location portfolio of infrastructure and support services.
  • Eight years of senior leadership experience.
  • Experience managing significant operating and capital budgets, real estate transactions, supplier relationships, and complex contracts.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Valid state-issued driver’s license.

  • Experience leading enterprise-wide transformation, service standardization, or operating model improvements across a complex, multi-location organization.

  • Experience in the non-profit sector.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, real estate, facilities management, operations, supply chain management, or related field.
  • Relevant professional certification in real estate, facilities management, procurement, supply chain, finance, safety, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction for long-range property planning and WWP's strategic property acquisition vision, including capital initiatives aligned with organizational priorities.
  • Provide executive leadership for mission support resources and services, partnering with Program senior leadership and other stakeholders to align these services with program needs and enable safe, high-quality, accessible, efficient, scalable, and impactful program delivery and workplace operations.
  • Establish and lead an enterprise strategy for facilities, workplace services, travel, procurement, safety, and other mission support services.
  • Determine the appropriate mix of internal capabilities, external partnerships, sourcing, and outsourced services to support scalability, cost optimization service excellence, and responsible stewardship.
  • Lead the enterprise real estate strategy, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, workplace planning, and management of programmatic and administrative properties.
  • Provide executive oversight of facilities operations, construction, maintenance, space management, safety, security, emergency preparedness, and service delivery across all locations.
  • Shape the travel and event support strategy to ensure consistent, high-quality experiences across WWP activities.
  • Champion enterprise procurement and sourcing practices that strengthen supplier performance, manage risk, and maximize organizational value.
  • Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing leadership team focused on collaboration, accountability, innovation, service excellence, and mission impact.
  • Establish performance measures and service standards that align mission support functions with organizational strategy and priorities.
  • Build partnerships across Programs, Finance, Legal, IT, Human Resources, Safety, and other business functions to align priorities, manage interdependencies, and enable coordinated service delivery.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on mission support strategy, capital planning, resource optimization, and enterprise risk.
  • Attend and actively participate in required training and/or meetings, including but not limited to New Teammate Orientation, WWP Cares, ASIST Suicide Prevention training, Leadership training, culture/team based training, or departmental huddles.
  • Other related duties as assigned.
