The Business Unit Vice President of Human Resources is responsible for the development and execution of the Unit’s global people strategy. This leader is a key member of the Business Unit Leadership Team, the CEIG Group Management Team, and the Senior HR Leadership Team. The role reports directly to the BU President with a Functional reporting line to the EVP Human Resources. This is a highly strategic role, balancing oversight of HR initiatives and employee relations with the development and execution of long-term strategies to provide a world class employee experience, achieve business objectives, and enhance profitability. Nikkiso CEIG is a product-driven market-focused global business which operates through a matrixed organizational structure. The Business Unit VPHR serves as a liaison between corporate executive leadership, Business Unit management, site level leadership, and employees to drive HR initiatives and programs across business lines. This leader will facilitate cooperation across the Group in regards to people resources and activities in collaboration with Senior HR Leadership Team members. Where the Business Unit President is appointed as Chairman for a Legal Entity, the HRVP will provide senior HR leadership for that location on behalf of all businesses operating at that site, in collaboration with the relevant HR leaders. In this capacity, the HRVP represents all business lines to ensure successful people operations. This position will work collaboratively with Nikkiso, CEIG Corporate, Business Unit and Entity HR team members to establish and maintain policy, program and initiative development and deployment. The HRVP will be a champion of the ‘One Nikkiso’ culture and defend our values.
