About The Position

Workday is seeking a Vice President, GTM Enablement to lead and evolve the Global Customer Operations Enablement (GCOE) function. This executive will transform a consolidated global organization into a modern, AI-augmented capability engine designed to drive measurable business outcomes at scale. The GCOE team is the central engine for Workday's go-to-market ecosystem, serving Sales, Solution Consulting, Customer Experience, and Partners. By breaking down organizational silos, GCOE ensures every buyer interaction is powered by a consistent, high-quality foundation of capability. The team’s mission is to transform how this ecosystem learns and performs, measuring success by how quickly knowledge translates into growth. GCOE is currently evolving into an AI-powered, high-velocity enablement supply chain. This function is as integral to Workday’s commercial engine as the products it supports.

Requirements

  • B2B leadership in GTM Enablement or RevOps, including 5+ years at the VP level.
  • Led functions serving 1,000+ users across Sales, Presales, Customer Success, and Partners.
  • Proven track record in organizational restructuring and operating model redesigns with documented ROI.
  • Designed KPI systems linking ramp time and productivity directly to revenue outcomes.
  • Scaled enablement for GSIs, SIs, and ISVs to accelerate partner-sourced pipeline.
  • Executed AI and adaptive learning initiatives with measurable gains in speed and effectiveness.
  • Expert at aligning cross-functional C-suite stakeholders within complex, matrixed environments.
  • Managed diverse workforce models (FTE, contractor, and vendor) for maximum efficiency.

Nice To Haves

  • Spans Enablement, RevOps, and Management Consulting to provide a broad, cross-functional perspective.
  • Experienced in $5B+ revenue or 10,000+ employee environments, navigating complex, multi-regional stakeholder politics.
  • Expert in designing governed content supply chains and enterprise-scale knowledge management platforms.
  • Proven success in deploying JIT learning, in-flow enablement, and AI-assisted coaching programs.
  • Partnered with Product and PMM to drive rapid field readiness and measurable adoption for GTM launches.
  • Skilled at defending C-suite strategies and converting high-level ambiguity into actionable operating plans.
  • Leveraged enablement as a critical driver for major GTM shifts, platform evolutions, and market expansions.

Responsibilities

  • Own the long-term operating strategy to drive commercial performance and partner growth, leading GCOE’s evolution into an AI-powered, high-velocity enablement supply chain that redefines how capability is built and deployed at scale.
  • Optimize global delivery by implementing a flexible workforce model of FTE, contract, and outsourced talent while utilizing Workday’s own platform and AI-native tools to set the internal standard for intelligent, technology-driven enablement.
  • Architect a standardized, AI-governed content supply chain that bridges the gap between Product and the field, establishing a scalable production model that accelerates readiness for new launches across Sales, Solution Consulting, CX, and Partners.
  • Drive the adoption of adaptive, AI-powered modalities—such as just-in-time learning and intelligent coaching—to meet workmates in the flow of work, utilizing digital-first mechanisms to reduce dependency on synchronous, human-delivered programming.
  • Define a unified "time-to" KPI framework—tracking productivity, competency, and partner activation—while building the data infrastructure and executive dashboards required to tie enablement directly to commercial outcomes like win rates, deal velocity, and revenue.
  • Build a scalable enablement engine to drive partner-led growth across GSIs, SIs, and ISVs by designing differentiated onboarding, certification, and industry specialization programs.
  • Serve as the primary architect of Workday’s enablement supply chain by aligning executive stakeholders across Product, Marketing, and Operations to ensure GCOE is an integrated business partner rather than a downstream recipient.
  • Navigate Workday’s collaborative environment with urgency and assertiveness, creating clarity from complexity to move the organization toward shared outcomes while representing GCOE’s impact at the C-suite level.
  • Lead and inspire a global, multi-disciplinary team by fostering a high-performance culture of intellectual curiosity and operational rigor, while modeling a human-AI orchestration mindset to set the standard for how the team experiments and scales.
