About The Position

Blue J is hiring a Vice President, Growth Marketing to build and scale growth for its AI tax research software. The role leads Demand Generation, Events, and Partner Marketing, with responsibility for strategy, budget, and execution to generate qualified pipeline, revenue, and paid-customer growth through account-based marketing and trial acquisition. The VP will scale product-led acquisition by increasing qualified trial sign-ups among ideal-customer-profile prospects, improving acquisition efficiency and conversion, and partnering with Product-led Growth on cohort performance and payback. For sales-led segments, the role will coordinate ABM programs with Sales to engage priority accounts and buying groups, create qualified opportunities, and support deal progression. Partner marketing is also expected to contribute to partners’ annual recurring revenue targets. The position connects demand generation, events, and partner programs with Sales, Product-led Growth, Product Marketing, Brand, Revenue Operations, and Finance. The leader will establish an experimentation culture, use AI and automation to improve work, adapt programs for the UK market, and communicate performance and decisions to executive leadership. They will coach leaders across the marketing functions and develop an effective mix of internal talent, agencies, and specialist expertise. Blue J is headquartered in Toronto. The role is primarily remote, with candidates within driving distance of the Toronto or Kitchener–Waterloo offices expected to work in-office a couple of days each week. Occasional travel for industry events, trade shows, conferences, and the Toronto office is required. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada or the US. New team members attend three days of onboarding; travel and accommodation are arranged and covered for those outside the local commuting area.
