About The Position

Reporting to the Vice President, Global Operations, the Vice President, Global Materials & Logistics is responsible for developing and executing the enterprise-wide strategy for materials management, logistics, transportation, warehousing, and distribution across the Americas, Europe, and International regions. This role provides leadership and functional oversight to regional Materials & Logistics leaders and drives end-to-end supply chain performance through operational excellence, transformation, and continuous improvement initiatives. As a member of the Global Operations leadership team, the Vice President partners across the enterprise to optimize service, cost, quality, and supply chain resiliency while supporting long-term business growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Operations, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Fifteen (15) or more years of progressive leadership experience within supply chain, materials management, logistics, operations, or a related field.
  • Ten (10) or more years of leadership experience managing large, complex organizations and teams.
  • Demonstrated experience leading global supply chain, materials, and logistics operations within a manufacturing environment.

  • Master’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience leading global, multi-region supply chain organizations.
  • Demonstrated success leading large-scale transformation, digitization, and operational excellence initiatives.
  • Professional certifications such as APICS, CSCP, CLTD, Six Sigma, CSCMP, or equivalent.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to build strategic partnerships and lead through complexity in a global environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the global Materials & Logistics strategy in alignment with enterprise objectives and operational priorities.
  • Provide leadership, direction, and functional oversight to regional Materials & Logistics leaders across the Americas, Europe, and International regions.
  • Serve as a key member of the Global Operations leadership team, contributing to enterprise strategy, business planning, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Build and develop a high-performing global organization through talent development, succession planning, and leadership coaching.
  • Lead the optimization of end-to-end material flow, inventory management, warehousing, transportation, distribution, and logistics operations across the enterprise.
  • Drive global supply chain transformation initiatives that improve service, cost, quality, efficiency, and resiliency.
  • Establish and deploy standardized processes, operating disciplines, and best practices across the global Materials & Logistics function.
  • Champion the use of technology, analytics, and digital solutions to improve visibility, decision-making, and operational performance.
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers, logistics providers, and key business partners to support operational and business objectives.
  • Lead the material flow council optimizing inventory to manage cashflow and balance operational risk.
  • Provide global leadership for the “Plan for Every Part” (PFEP) process ensuring all elements of the plan support business goals for safety, quality, cost and velocity.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory, trade, environmental, and safety requirements across global operations.
  • Establish performance metrics and governance processes to monitor results, mitigate risk, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Manage functional budgets, resources, and investments to support enterprise priorities and long-term growth.
  • Provide executive leadership with regular updates and recommendations regarding materials and logistics performance, opportunities, and risks.
