This includes acquiring and collecting data from various sources, performing data cleaning and pre-processing, designing and implementing data management strategies, and developing statistical and machine learning models for applications such as credit risk assessment, fraud detection, customer segmentation, and marketing optimization. The role also involves monitoring model performance, leading training and knowledge-sharing sessions, and evaluating emerging technologies. As a Vice President, the individual is expected to contribute to strategy, drive requirements, make recommendations for change, plan resources, budgets, and policies, and deliver continuous improvements. If managing a team, responsibilities include defining jobs, planning for departmental needs, counseling employees, and contributing to pay decisions. For individual contributors, the role requires being a subject matter expert, guiding technical direction, leading collaborative assignments, and training less experienced specialists. The role involves advising key stakeholders, managing and mitigating risks, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of the organization's functions, collaborating with other areas, creating solutions based on sophisticated analytical thought, and building trusting relationships with stakeholders.
