About The Position

Altera is seeking a strategic and execution-oriented Vice President, Finance Programs to lead critical cross-functional finance initiatives that drive scale, operational efficiency, and business transformation. This leader will partner closely with Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to deliver key programs including finance systems transformation, process optimization, and readiness for future growth milestones (e.g., IPO, M&A, global expansion). This role is ideal for a finance leader who thrives at the intersection of finance, technology, and program execution.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in Finance, Finance Transformation, or Program Leadership roles
  • Proven track record leading large-scale finance programs (ERP implementations, system transformations)
  • Strong understanding of finance processes (FP&A, accounting, reporting, controls)
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior executives and drive cross-functional alignment
  • Bachelor’s degree required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in semiconductor, technology, or high-growth global environments preferred
  • MBA and/or CPA preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end execution of strategic finance initiatives (ERP transformation, financial systems modernization, automation)
  • Establish and drive program governance, timelines, milestones, and stakeholder alignment
  • Partner with Finance leadership to evolve processes, controls, and reporting capabilities
  • Oversee finance-related systems (ERP, planning tools, reporting platforms) to ensure scalability and efficiency
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and automate financial workflows
  • Drive standardization of global finance processes
  • Act as a liaison between Finance, IT, HR, and business functions to execute complex, multi-stakeholder programs
  • Ensure alignment with broader enterprise priorities and technology roadmap
  • Support finance infrastructure and process readiness for IPO or major corporate events
  • Lead integration planning and execution for acquisitions, as applicable
  • Implement strong program management discipline, risk mitigation, and reporting
  • Track KPIs and deliver measurable outcomes tied to business value
