About The Position

The Vice President, Finance serves as a strategic and operational finance leader, partnering closely with executive leadership to drive profitable growth, operational excellence, and financial discipline. This role oversees the Finance and Accounting function, including financial planning & analysis, accounting, and reporting, and leads the development of a high-performing, insight-driven finance organization that enables data-informed decisions. As Vice President, Finance, your essential job functions will include the following: Strategic & Operational Leadership Serve as a key member of the senior leadership team, providing financial leadership and insight to drive business strategy and execution. Partner with the President and executive team on strategic planning, growth initiatives, and operational improvement efforts. Translate strategy into actionable financial plans, metrics, and accountabilities. Financial Planning & Analysis Develop and institutionalize KPIs and business metrics that provide forward-looking insights. Lead monthly and quarterly business reviews, identifying opportunities, risks, and corrective actions. Lead business-unit budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes. Accounting, Controls & Governance Provide executive oversight of accounting operations, financial reporting, and internal controls through direct leadership of the Controller. Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of financial reporting in accordance with GAAP and regulatory requirements. Promote strong governance, compliance, and ethical standards across the Finance organization. Partner closely with the DTFOC Chief Accounting Officer and Corporate Controller to ensure accounting processes are developed and managed in accordance with the expectations of the DTFOC. Team Leadership & Development Lead, develop, and inspire a multi-disciplinary finance organization, including FP&A and Accounting. Build a culture emphasizing accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Other Duties as Assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required
  • 15+ years of progressive finance leadership experience with increasing responsibility
  • Demonstrated success partnering with executive leadership to drive strategy and results
  • Strong strategic and analytical leadership capabilities
  • Proven ability to operate effectively at both strategic and hands-on levels
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • High ethical standards, sound judgment, and a results-oriented mindset

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or CPA strongly preferred
  • Experience in a private equity-backed environment strongly preferred
