About The Position

The Vice President of Enterprise Program Management Office (EPMO) is a senior executive accountable for governance, financial integrity, and delivery discipline for Hagerty’s APEX program, a multi-horizon Duck Creek implementation transforming its insurance business. For the next 18–24 months, the role leads APEX program governance and owns the EPMO function, including financial reporting and budget management, vendor contract oversight, risk and issue management, status reporting, and change control. The VP serves as Hagerty’s primary counterpart to Accenture, overseeing a two-in-the-box delivery model and transitioning EPMO capabilities from Accenture to a permanently Hagerty-owned function. The VP will also design and implement Hagerty’s Enterprise Center of Excellence (CoE) for Program and Project Management in collaboration with Accenture. The CoE will establish enterprise-wide standards, frameworks, and practices for delivering complex programs. APEX will serve as the proving ground and first beneficiary of this capability. The role is hands-on, requiring daily involvement in the program, partner accountability, escalation of critical issues to executive leadership, and development of enduring internal EPMO capability. The role and EPMO report to the Chief Financial Officer, with defined accountability to the APEX Executive Steering Committee, Executive Council, and Board of Directors. It partners closely with the VP of Insurance Transformation, the business owner of APEX, and the VP of Insurance Technology & Transformation, the IT owner of APEX. The position is open to U.S. remote work. Team members residing within 20 miles of Hagerty’s Traverse City headquarters follow a hybrid schedule, working from the office three days per week.
