About The Position

Appfire is seeking a Vice President of Demand Generation to lead a modern, data-driven demand engine that drives scalable, predictable ARR growth. This leader will own global demand strategy and execution across digital, paid, lifecycle, and field channels—bringing together campaign excellence, performance marketing, and AI-powered innovation. This role reports to the CMO and sits at the center of Appfire’s go-to-market motion, partnering closely across sales, channel, and marketing teams to accelerate pipeline and revenue. This role specializes in driving adoption of Appfire products across strategic platforms like Atlassian, Microsoft, AWS, and Salesforce marketplaces. In addition to marketplace adoption, this leader will also own responsibility for our direct marketing business and partner demand generation.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of senior leadership experience in B2B SaaS marketing, with a strong focus on demand generation
  • Proven track record of building and scaling ARR-driven demand generation programs
  • Deep experience in digital marketing, paid media, SEO, and performance optimization
  • Strong understanding of marketplace fulfillment
  • Experience marketing to technical and developer audiences
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms, modern martech stacks and analytics tools
  • Expertise in campaign management and full-funnel demand strategy
  • Strong command of marketing analytics, attribution, and forecasting
  • Proven experience driving strong ARR producing demand generation programs
  • High level of AI literacy, including practical application of AI in marketing workflows and LLM-driven discovery
  • Familiarity with the agile framework, sprint planning, backlog management and refinement (we love agile!)

Responsibilities

  • Build and scale a global demand generation strategy that achieves ARR growth targets achievement across all marketing routes to market
  • Lead integrated, multi-channel campaigns across digital, paid media, SEO/AIO, LLM-driven discovery, events, and lifecycle programs
  • Drive full-funnel performance from awareness through pipeline and revenue
  • Manage lead follow up cadence and interlock with Inside Sales
  • Ensure governance and compliance across all activities and markets
  • Build and execute co-marketing campaigns/activities with top Appfire partners
  • Build and execute a global campaign framework that aligns with the annual and quarterly GTM priorities across product, sales and channel teams
  • Drive audience segmentation, persona targeting, and account-based marketing (ABM) strategies
  • Ensure strong alignment between content, creative, and web teams for seamless execution
  • Partner closely with the CRO to align demand generation with sales priorities and pipeline needs
  • Work across sales and channel teams to drive coordinated go-to-market execution, lead qualification and progression and field activities
  • Works closely with Data & Insights on monthly and quarterly results packages
  • Collaborate with peer marketing leaders across: Product Marketing, Content, Creative, Web, Enterprise Platforms, Channel Marketing & Programs
  • Align with partnerships and ecosystem teams to maximize marketplace-driven growth
