About The Position

The Vice President Business Development is a senior growth leader responsible for accelerating EFI Global's market presence and revenue growth across the Eastern or Western United States. This role builds and leads a high-performing team of Regional Business Development Directors, drives disciplined sales execution, expands client relationships, and develops strategies to increase market share across key industries and client segments. The VP partners closely with Strategic Accounts, Operations, and Marketing to translate growth objectives into measurable business results. PRIMARY PURPOSE: To expand and enhance the company's top line through diligent relationship building and maintenance with prospective clients across an area; to identify and address prospective and existing client opportunities for marketing the company's programs; and to ensure sales goals, objectives and profit margins are met.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required.
  • Ten (10) years of relationship building in the claims management or risk management area or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills
  • PC literate, including Microsoft Office products
  • Analytical and interpretive skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies
  • Credit security clearance, confirmed via a background credit check, is required for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Identifies, develops and maintains internal and external relationships/partnerships.
  • Provides leadership and direction for the business development team.
  • Maintains accountability for regional growth and revenue objectives.
  • Drives alignment with the company's sales strategy and organizational goals.
  • Establishes and monitors key performance indicators and business results.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with prospective clients and strategic partners.
  • Facilitates the development of new partnerships and the company; facilitates and remains involved in the implementation process ensuring a smooth transition of new client programs.
  • Develop detailed knowledge of individual prospect operations targeting specific needs which may be opportunities for marketing company programs.
  • Ensures the identification of expertise required addressing individual prospect requirements; identifies resources for prospect solicitation and service teams.
  • Utilizes the appropriate national resources to facilitate responses and pricing for RFPs, proposals, and presentations.
  • Manages the design of service programs ensuring client need fulfillment.
  • Develops and implements an annual sales and service plan including identification of potential client prospects, their needs, and the methodology of presenting company's ability to fulfill those needs.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
