This person will lead and grow Edelman’s remit through smart attention-grabbing work and elevated client relations out of our New York office. Requirements

  • At least eight years of relevant experience in public relations and/or related fields including research, advertising, management consulting, media and publishing.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • General understanding of the full marketing ecosystem inclusive of paid, social, retail, influencer and PR.
  • Knowledge, passion and track record in earned media strategy, counsel and activation.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong understanding of how to communicate with teams and work from both client and agency sides.
  • Experience with consumer brands with interest in food and beverage.
  • Track record of leading profitable programs that have advanced client business goals.
  • Superb people manager with experience successfully managing resources and budgets as well as helping win new business.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and adapt ideas to fit integrated agency team (IAT) channels in collaboration with team and agency partners.
  • Understand the value of earned programming and how “PR” has evolved and translates in today's complex media environment.
  • Build relationships and provide daily strategic counsel with clients across all brands in remit.
  • Demonstrate the ability to evolve brands, to promote them and to garner attention and drive consumer action.
  • Lead and grow a team of direct and indirect reports by motivating, coaching, consistently providing feedback, and leading by example.
  • Show financial acumen and the ability to lead a profitable business.
  • Partner, own and grow business through agile creative solutions and elevated client relations.
