Meow Bark Veterinary is a new, locally-owned clinic in South Austin seeking a skilled Veterinary Technician. Requirements

• Experience as a Veterinary Technician (license not required but preferred)
• Strong knowledge of animal handling and care
• Excellent communication and client care skills
• Ability to stay organized and multitask
• Compassion and empathy for pets and their humans

Nice To Haves

• Fear Free Certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Gather detailed patient histories from pet owners
• Take vital signs and collect lab samples
• Run in-house diagnostics (CBC, Chem, UA, cytology, etc.)
• Perform dental and full-body radiographs
• Assist in surgery and monitor patients pre- and post-op
• Administer medications and explain discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient records
