Requirements
- Current Veterinary Technician credential (LVT, RVT, or CVT as required by state regulations)
- Previous veterinary clinical experience preferred
- Strong anesthesia monitoring skills
- Experience performing laboratory procedures and diagnostic testing
- Proficiency with radiology and sample collection
- Strong patient handling and restraint skills
- Excellent communication and client education abilities
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- The ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Compassion for patients, clients, and teammates

Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, surgeries, and medical procedures
- Monitor anesthesia throughout surgical procedures
- Prepare patients and equipment for surgery
- Safely and compassionately handle and restrain patients
- Perform venipuncture and collect diagnostic samples
- Run in-house laboratory testing
- Obtain high-quality diagnostic radiographs
- Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed
- Monitor hospitalized patients and provide attentive nursing care
- Maintain accurate and complete medical records
- Educate clients on medications, treatment plans, preventive care, and discharge instructions
- Prepare examination rooms and treatment areas
- Maintain clean, organized treatment and surgical areas
- Follow hospital protocols for patient safety and quality care
- Collaborate with the veterinary team to provide an exceptional client experience
