About The Position

Meadows Cat Hospital is a feline-only veterinary practice located in downtown Issaquah. We are passionate about providing exceptional care to our feline patients while creating a supportive, collaborative workplace where team members can continue to learn and grow. We're looking for a Licensed Veterinary Technician who enjoys working closely with both cats and their people. Whether you're an experienced feline technician or looking to expand your feline medicine skills, you'll be supported by an experienced team of doctors and technicians who are committed to high-quality medicine and continuous learning.

Requirements

Current Licensed Veterinary Technician credential required
Strong technical and patient care skills
Experience with anesthesia monitoring and dental procedures
Knowledge of preventative care and vaccine protocols
Excellent communication and client service skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
Commitment to learning, growth, and continuous improvement
Compassion for patients, clients, and coworkers

Responsibilities

Safely and effectively handle and restrain feline patients
Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and procedures
Monitor anesthesia and support dental prophylaxis procedures
Perform venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and sample collection
Obtain diagnostic images, including radiographs
Perform in-house laboratory testing and diagnostics
Assist with emergency and surgical patient care
Maintain accurate medical records and client communication documentation
Educate clients on preventative care, treatments, and patient needs
Collaborate with teammates to provide exceptional patient care
