Riverside Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to join their compassionate and collaborative team. Requirements
- Current Licensed Veterinary Technician credentials
- Confidence working in all areas of a general practice hospital, including appointments, treatment, surgery, and patient care
- Strong communication and client education skills
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- A positive, collaborative attitude and willingness to support your teammates
- Compassion for patients, clients, and fellow team members
Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians during appointments, treatments, and surgical procedures
- Support patient care through examinations, hospitalization, and recovery
- Communicate with clients to provide education and treatment updates
- Perform technical nursing skills while maintaining accurate medical records
- Help deliver exceptional patient care while supporting an efficient hospital workflow
- Collaborate with doctors and teammates to provide outstanding service to patients and clients
