At Loving Care Animal Clinic, we believe licensed veterinary technicians are highly trained medical professionals who should be empowered to practice to the full extent of their education, training, and legal scope. If you’re looking for a practice where your judgment, technical skills, and professional contribution are trusted and respected, we’d love to meet you. Our technicians are integral members of the medical team. You’ll do far more than restrain patients and draw blood, you’ll be encouraged to think critically, contribute to case management, and use the full breadth of your training every day. LVTs are trusted to carry out delegated clinical responsibilities with meaningful professional autonomy, consistent with Michigan law, hospital protocols, and collaboration with the veterinarian. Our veterinarians retain responsibility for diagnosing disease, prescribing medications, performing surgery, and providing prognoses. Our clinic values collaboration, receptiveness to new ideas, learning, and mutual respect. We care deeply about good medicine, but we also care about good people. We are seeking someone who is kind, humble, dependable, accountable, and genuinely invested in making their teammates’ days better. Strong clinical skills matter; being a respectful, supportive team player matters just as much.
