Requirements

  • Current Veterinary Technician license or eligibility for licensure
  • New graduates and experienced technicians are encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

  • Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, surgery, and other medical procedures
  • Monitor anesthesia and provide attentive patient care before, during, and after procedures
  • Perform surgical preparation and assist during surgical procedures
  • Collect laboratory samples and perform in-house diagnostic testing
  • Take high-quality radiographs while following radiation safety protocols
  • Prepare, dispense, and maintain pharmacy medications
  • Monitor hospitalized patients and communicate patient updates to the medical team
  • Maintain complete and accurate medical records
  • Answer client phone calls and provide exceptional customer service
  • Educate clients on medications, preventive care, and discharge instructions
