About The Position

Requirements
- Completion of an accredited Veterinary Technician program or equivalent work experience
- Strong knowledge of veterinary medical terminology and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Compassion for animals and commitment to high standards of animal care
- Physical ability to handle animals and perform duties in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and medical procedures
- Perform laboratory tests, collect samples, and analyze results
- Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as directed
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and progress
- Maintain clean and organized workspaces, treatment areas, and equipment
- Educate pet owners on preventive care, medication administration, and general animal health
- Handle animal restraint and care with patience and professionalism
