About The Position

Hickory Veterinary and Specialty Hospital is hiring a Veterinary Technician for its neurology service in Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania. The role provides care for neurology patients throughout diagnosis, treatment, surgery, and recovery, and supports neurology procedures, anesthesia, and advanced patient monitoring. The technician also coordinates patient care, scheduling, and client communication, maintains accurate records, collaborates with the team, mentors team members, and helps support the growth of the neurology service and high standards of clinical care. This is a full-time position with a schedule of four 10-hour days on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. A Friday may occasionally be switched to Wednesday, and occasional weekends and holidays may be required. Compensation starts at $20–$23 per hour depending on experience and credentials. A $2,000 retention bonus is offered.

Requirements

Veterinary experience with a strong general practice foundation.
Strong technical nursing, patient care, and anesthesia skills.
