Requirements
- Veterinary technician experience or appropriate veterinary technician credentials

Responsibilities
- Support veterinarians in providing high-quality, compassionate medical care
- Assist with examinations, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures
- Safely handle and restrain patients using fear-free and low-stress techniques
- Anticipate the needs of DVMs to support smooth, efficient patient care
- Collect and prepare diagnostic samples as appropriate
- Administer medications and treatments under veterinarian direction
- Assist with surgical preparation, anesthesia, monitoring, and patient recovery as appropriate to your training and skill level
- Educate clients about preventive care, treatments, medications, and their pets’ ongoing health needs
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with pet owners
- Maintain complete and accurate patient medical records
- Collaborate closely with fellow technicians, veterinarians, and support team members
- Contribute to a positive, uplifting hospital environment
