Requirements

Knowledge of preventative care and vaccines
Experience with anesthesia monitoring and perioperative care
Confidence with IV catheter placement, radiographs, phlebotomy, sample collection, and in-house laboratory testing

A collaborative mindset and commitment to excellent veterinary medicine

Responsibilities

Provide safe and effective patient handling and restraint
Support preventative care and vaccine appointments
Monitor patients under anesthesia
Provide perioperative care, including IV catheter placement
Obtain diagnostic radiographs
Perform phlebotomy and collect diagnostic samples
Perform in-house laboratory testing
Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients and staff
Document patient records and client interactions clearly and succinctly
Collaborate with veterinarians and fellow team members to provide exceptional patient care
