About The Position

BluePearl Pet Hospital is hiring experienced Veterinary Technicians to work overnight with our in-patient team. For a limited time, we are offering a SIGN ON BONUS of up to $3000 for qualified LVT candidates! Schedule: Tuesday through Thursday, 7p - 8a. Pay: $25.00 - $33.00 / hour + a shift differential per hour of your entire shift! This pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience. Candidates with VTS credentialing are eligible for compensation commensurate with experience. Requirements

Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) candidates
VTS credentialing (for compensation commensurate with experience)
Unrestricted, current authorization to work in the U.S. and not require future sponsorship for an employment-based green card.

Responsibilities

Provide high quality patient care.
Monitor, manage and implement treatment plans as ordered by clinicians to insure prompt delivery of high-quality care to inpatient cases.
Identify and communicate changes in patient condition to members of the patient care team.
Collaborate with clinicians throughout the hospital to coordinate and prioritize patient care.
Clean and maintain clinical areas including treatment and patient housing areas
Facilitate the maintenance of clinical equipment by identifying malfunctioning equipment and scheduling service.
Assist clinicians with procedures.
Complete diagnostic testing as ordered by clinicians.
Coach and mentor junior staff members as directed by supervisory staff.
