About The Position

Metropolitan Veterinary Associates is hiring a Veterinary Technician for its ICU in Norristown, Pennsylvania. This is a full-time, mid-shift position. The schedule is Wednesday through Saturday, 2:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.; weekends and some holidays are required. Starting pay is $30 per hour, plus a 15% shift differential. The posting also offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus, a $1,500 relocation bonus, and a $2,000 retention bonus. The technician provides hands-on intensive care, monitors patients using advanced equipment, and works closely with board-certified criticalists and emergency veterinarians. The role also includes compassionate communication with pet parents, training teammates, and contributing to process improvements. Experience in emergency or ICU care and skills in patient monitoring, ventilator support, anesthesia, venipuncture, and IV placement are sought. A CVT license is a plus.

Responsibilities
