About The Position

Windermere Animal Hospital is hiring an experienced Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant. This role is for a part-time position with a competitive salary based on experience and skill set. The schedule is 2 days a week with rotating Saturdays, offering no evenings, weekends, or holidays. Requirements

Experience as a Veterinary Technician, Licensed Veterinary Technician, or experienced Veterinary Assistant
Strong technical skills, including phlebotomy, anesthesia support, and patient care
Excellent communication and client service skills
Positive attitude and collaborative approach
Passion for veterinary medicine and patient advocacy
Desire to continue learning and expanding clinical skills
Commitment to delivering compassionate, high-quality care

Responsibilities

Welcome clients, obtain patient histories, and assist during appointments
Perform diagnostic testing and laboratory procedures
Collect blood samples and place IV catheters
Prepare patients for surgery and monitor anesthesia
Perform dental prophylaxis and digital dental radiography
Deliver treatments and direct patient nursing care
Take and process digital radiographs
Fill prescriptions and support pharmacy workflow
Educate clients and discuss wellness plans
Deliver compassionate care and exceptional client experiences
