The Emergency service is staffed by seasoned Veterinarians to provide high quality medical care to our patients around the clock, while working within a culture of true teamwork and collaboration with the Specialty departments, who offer referral and continued care for critically ill patients. Requirements

Minimum of 1 year working as a veterinary assistant, preferably in emergency medicine.
An understanding and experience with basic veterinary assistant knowledge
Attention to detail
Strong communication skills with both clients and team members
Ability to multi-task and work well in a high-volume, busy practice
Fluent English skills (speaking & reading) are required

Nice To Haves

Fluency in multiple languages is a plus

Responsibilities

Restraint with obtaining radiographs
Induction and recovery of anesthesia
All aspects of patient care
Knowledge of surgical procedures
Knowledge of surgical instruments
Cleaning, sterilizing (steam and gas), wrapping, and storing surgical instruments
Maintaining aseptic technique
