About The Position
Pet Partners Animal Clinic is hiring an experienced Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant for a full-time position. We are a busy small animal practice located in Sussex, Wisconsin, committed to providing exceptional care for pets and fostering a supportive, collaborative environment. Requirements
- Previous veterinary experience required
- Minimum two years preferred for Veterinary Assistant candidates
- Strong technical and surgical support skills
- Compassion for patients and exceptional client communication skills
- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and commitment to teamwork
- Passion for delivering high-quality veterinary medicine
Nice To Haves
- Experience with anesthesia monitoring and dental procedures preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians with patient examinations, treatments, and procedures
- Dispense and administer medications safely and accurately
- Support surgical procedures, including IV catheter placement, patient preparation, anesthesia monitoring, recovery, and discharge
- Perform dental prophylaxis and assist with dental procedures
- Obtain patient histories and maintain accurate medical records
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding patient care and treatment plans
- Collaborate with the team to provide outstanding medical care and client service
