As our new GP clinic opens its doors, we’re seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to help deliver exceptional patient and client care in a collaborative and expanding environment. Requirements
- Veterinary assistant with at least 1-2 years of experience in small animal practice
- Proficient knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal handling, and basic medical workflows
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills in a fast-paced clinic environment
- Tech-savvy and comfortable learning software like ezyVet

- Potential for a weekend day with growth; flexibility is appreciated
- Bonus potential for very experienced assistants
Responsibilities
- Safely handle and restrain patients with minimal stress during exams and treatments
- Assist in diagnostics: lab sample collection, radiographs, record vitals, perform basic lab work
- Support the team during routine procedures including surgery and dentistry
- Maintain tidy, organized treatment rooms, exam rooms, and supply areas
- Help communicate with clients and provide supportive guidance throughout their visit
