About The Position

Animal Medical Center of the Lowcountry is looking for an experienced Veterinary Receptionist to join their team. The ideal candidate will love helping people, staying organized, and creating an exceptional experience from the moment a client walks through the door. The practice prides itself on delivering exceptional care to patients while creating a supportive, family-like environment where teammates can learn, grow, and enjoy coming to work. The role is part-time to ¾ time with a negotiable salary based on experience. The schedule offers a flexible 4-day work week with no nights, weekends, or holidays.

Requirements

Previous experience in a veterinary or medical front-desk role
Strong customer service and communication skills
A friendly, organized, dependable, and detail-oriented approach
The ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy environment
Confidence communicating with clients in person and over the phone
The ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
Strong attention to detail and follow-through
A positive attitude and team-first mindset
Compassion and empathy for clients, patients, and coworkers
A genuine desire to provide an exceptional client experience

Responsibilities

Greet clients and patients with warmth and professionalism
Answer phones and provide exceptional customer service
Schedule appointments and help coordinate an efficient daily workflow
Check patients in and out
Support client communication and education
Maintain accurate client and patient records
Process invoices and collect payments
Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients
Coordinate with doctors, technicians, and teammates to support patient care
Maintain an organized, efficient, and welcoming front desk
Help create a positive experience for every client and patient who walks through the doors
