Requirements

Proven background in customer service and face-to-face relationship building.
Enjoys meeting people and developing long-term relationships.
Possesses strong listening skills and emotional intelligence.
Can communicate with compassion, confidence, and professionalism.
Experience in consultative sales, hospitality, retail sales, customer-facing service industries, or another relationship-driven profession.
Self-motivated, organized, and goal-oriented.
Maintains integrity, discretion, and professionalism at all times.
Comfortable discussing important life decisions with individuals and families.

Responsibilities

Assisting families with cemetery property and memorialization arrangements following a death.
Providing exceptional customer service during a sensitive and emotional time.
Building genuine relationships based on trust, empathy, and integrity.
Following up with families after services to ensure their needs have been met.
Educating families about advance planning options for their own future cemetery and memorial needs.
Generating pre-need sales opportunities through relationship building, follow-up, referrals, and community outreach.
Maintaining accurate CRM activity and managing your sales pipeline.
Representing the cemetery with professionalism and a commitment to service excellence.
