About The Position

Regal Veterinary Clinic is hiring a Veterinary Receptionist for a full-time position. The role involves welcoming clients and patients, managing appointments, maintaining records, processing payments, and coordinating with the medical team to ensure an exceptional client experience. The clinic emphasizes a positive workplace culture that values collaboration, work-life balance, and supporting team members. This position offers predictable scheduling with a four-day work week, including Saturdays, and no nights, on-call shifts, after-hours emergencies, or holiday hours.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
At least one year of customer service experience
Outstanding communication and client service skills
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Confidence using computers and learning new software
Positive attitude and willingness to both ask for help and support your teammates
Compassion for clients, patients, and coworkers
Ability to remain calm, organized, and professional in a busy environment

Nice To Haves

Veterinary experience is preferred

Responsibilities

Welcome clients and patients with warmth, professionalism, and compassion
Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage multiple priorities throughout the day
Maintain accurate medical records and client information
Process payments, invoices, and daily financial transactions
Respond to client questions and direct calls to the appropriate team members
Recognize urgent and emergency situations and communicate them appropriately to the medical team
Coordinate with doctors and technicians to keep the hospital running efficiently
Help create an exceptional client experience from check-in through checkout
