Jacksonville Community Pet Clinic – Beach is looking for an experienced Veterinary Receptionist to join our compassionate team. As the first friendly face our clients see and the reassuring voice they hear on the phone, you'll play an essential role in creating an exceptional experience for every family who walks through our doors. This is a part-time role with evening shifts and alternating Saturdays required.
Requirements
- Previous customer service experience; veterinary reception experience preferred
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Confidence using computers and learning veterinary software
- Positive attitude and commitment to teamwork
- Compassion for clients, patients, and coworkers
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Availability for evening shifts and alternating Saturdays
Responsibilities
- Welcome clients and patients with warmth, professionalism, and compassion
- Answer phones, texts, and emails while providing outstanding customer service
- Schedule appointments and manage client communications
- Check patients in and out while maintaining accurate client and patient records
- Process invoices and collect payments
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
- Collaborate closely with doctors and technicians to ensure a smooth client experience
- Assist with administrative tasks that help keep the hospital running efficiently
