Requirements

  • Previous veterinary reception or veterinary hospital experience
  • A passion for pets and veterinary care

Responsibilities

  • Greet clients and patients with warmth and professionalism
  • Provide exceptional client service in person and over the phone
  • Answer incoming calls and respond to client questions
  • Schedule appointments and help manage the hospital calendar
  • Check clients and patients in and out efficiently
  • Process payments and maintain accurate client account information
  • Communicate clearly with clients about appointments, hospital processes, and next steps
  • Coordinate with veterinarians and clinical team members to support smooth patient flow
  • Maintain accurate client and patient information in the hospital’s practice management system
  • Help create a welcoming, organized, and positive front desk environment
  • Listen patiently as clients tell you exactly why their pet is the greatest animal to ever live
  • Take ownership of tasks and responsibilities to help deliver positive outcomes
