About The Position

West Loop Veterinary Care–Streeterville is seeking a full-time Veterinary Receptionist to be the welcoming face and voice of its hospital. The role supports positive client experiences, coordinates patient care, manages electronic medical records, and assists the veterinary team. The successful candidate is detail-oriented and shares the hospital’s commitment to exceptional medical care for patients and excellent service for clients. The position is based at the hospital’s brand-new facility in Chicago’s Streeterville neighborhood and pays $18.75–$20.75 per hour.

Requirements

Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

1–2+ years of experience as a receptionist in a small-animal clinic.
Familiarity with practice management software and multi-line phone systems.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional client service and coordinate patient care.
Maintain professional communications and ambiance.
Facilitate electronic medical records management.
Manage the front desk by greeting clients, checking patients in and out, scheduling rechecks, and signing in visitors and vendors.
Perform other job duties as assigned.
