About The Position
West Loop Veterinary Care is seeking a full-time Veterinary Receptionist to be the welcoming face and voice of their hospital. This role is instrumental in ensuring positive client experiences, coordinating patient care, managing electronic medical records, and supporting the veterinary team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and share the passion for the mission of providing exceptional medical care to patients and excellent service to clients. This is a full-time position with a pay rate of $18.75 - $20.75 per hour.
Requirements
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of hospital organization and client service
- Team-oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
- Positive attitude and enthusiasm for pet care
Nice To Haves
- 1-2+ years of experience as a receptionist in a small-animal clinic
- Familiarity with practice management software and multi-line phone systems
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional client service and coordinate patient care
- Maintain professional communications and ambiance
- Facilitate electronic medical records management
- Manage the front desk by greeting clients, checking patients in/out, scheduling rechecks and signing visitors and vendors in.
- Perform other job duties as assigned.
