Veterinary Receptionist/CSR (part-time)
About The Position
Walled Lake Veterinary Hospital is looking for a part-time Veterinary Receptionist/CSR to join their fun-loving, team-oriented practice. This is a multi-doctor, dual-hospital, small animal/exotic hospital with a sister location in South Lyon. The practice emphasizes passionate care, teamwork, and a welcoming atmosphere, valuing flexibility, collaboration, and high-quality medicine. The team is described as happy-go-lucky, supportive, and always ready to help each other out, with a strong belief in work-life balance, flexibility, and teamwork. This role may be asked to support both Walled Lake and South Lyon locations.
Requirements
- Prior experience in a customer service or administrative role is preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn.
- Must be available on Saturday
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with veterinary services is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities
- Welcome clients and their pets warmly, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and handle client inquiries.
- Process payments, manage billing, and maintain accurate client records.
- Keep the reception area clean, organized, and welcoming.
- Coordinate with the veterinary team to ensure smooth client communication and patient care.
- Assist with administrative tasks to support the day-to-day operations of the practice.
