About The Position

Faithful Friends Animal Clinic is seeking a Part-time Veterinary Receptionist. This role is responsible for maintaining the visual appeal of the hospital reception area, greeting and welcoming clients and patients, answering questions and triaging client concerns, handling calls and emails, scheduling appointments to maximize efficiency, and checking clients in and out while processing payments. The receptionist must offer friendly emotional support in a compassionate and discreet manner during times of need and be comfortable with various medical outcomes. The role requires the ability to withstand unpleasant odors and noises and may involve exposure to bites, scratches, animal waste, and potentially contagious diseases. Opportunities for virtual and hands-on training and continuing development are available.

Requirements

Minimum of 1-year veterinary experience preferred
Compassionate, Calm, Team Player, Multi-Tasker and Strong Communicator
Highly organized and possess computer skills
Self-starter with the desire to continue to advance your knowledge and skillset
Ability to withstand unpleasant odors and noises
May be exposed to bites, scratches, animal waste and potentially contagious diseases
