About The Position

Faithful Friends Animal Clinic is seeking a Part-time Veterinary Receptionist for their fast-paced 6-doctor companion animal practice. The role involves maintaining the hospital reception area, greeting clients and patients, answering questions, triaging concerns, managing calls and emails, scheduling appointments, and processing check-ins, check-outs, and payments. Receptionists are expected to provide emotional support to clients during difficult times and be comfortable with various medical outcomes. The position requires the ability to tolerate unpleasant odors and noises, and potential exposure to bites, scratches, animal waste, and contagious diseases.

Requirements

Minimum of 1-year veterinary experience preferred.
Compassionate, Calm, Team Player, Multi-Tasker and Strong Communicator.
Highly organized and possess computer skills.
Self-starter with the desire to continue to advance your knowledge and skillset.
Must be able to withstand unpleasant odors and noises.
May be exposed to bites, scratches, animal waste and potentially contagious diseases.

Responsibilities
