About The Position

Walled Lake Veterinary Hospital is seeking a part-time Veterinary Receptionist/CSR to join their team. This is a multi-doctor, dual-hospital, small animal/exotic practice with a sister location in South Lyon. The hospital emphasizes passionate care, teamwork, and a welcoming atmosphere, valuing flexibility, collaboration, and high-quality medicine. The team is described as happy-go-lucky, supportive, and collaborative. This role may require support at both the Walled Lake and South Lyon locations.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Positive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn.
• Must be available on Saturday

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in a customer service or administrative role is preferred
• Familiarity with veterinary services is a plus

Responsibilities

• Welcome clients and their pets warmly, ensuring a positive first impression.
• Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and handle client inquiries.
• Process payments, manage billing, and maintain accurate client records.
• Keep the reception area clean, organized, and welcoming.
• Coordinate with the veterinary team to ensure smooth client communication and patient care.
• Assist with administrative tasks to support the day-to-day operations of the practice.
