About The Position

Join our team at Charlottesville Cat Care Clinic as a Veterinary Receptionist/Assistant, where your passion for feline care meets exceptional customer service. Be a vital part of a dedicated team that ensures our furry patients receive the best care possible in a warm and welcoming environment. Charlottesville Cat Care Clinic has been serving the feline community for over 30 years with a commitment to high-quality veterinary care. Our clients love us for our compassionate approach and our employees appreciate the supportive and friendly work environment that allows them to thrive in their roles. Dr. Mahanes graduated from the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 1988 and began her career in the small animal veterinary field. However, after five years of working practices where dogs were interspersed with cats, she felt a need to create a “Quiet Alternative” for our feline friends. In May of 1993, the doors of Charlottesville Cat Care Clinic proudly opened to serve the public as the only feline-specific practice in the area. Catering to our purr-fect companions came naturally for Dr. Mahanes and her staff. She expanded the Clinic in 2003 in order to meet the needs of her clients and patients. Today the Clinic is equipped to handle not only hospital patients but also provide that home away from home for kitties in the form of overnight boarding services.
