About The Position

Wolftever Pet Wellness Group is seeking a Veterinary Receptionist/Assistant who understands the strong bond between pets and their families. This role involves providing exceptional client service while supporting both the reception and medical teams. Responsibilities include greeting clients and patients, managing communications (phones and emails), scheduling appointments, processing check-ins and check-outs, handling payments, and addressing client questions with compassion. Additionally, the role requires assisting the veterinary team with patient restraint, preparing exam rooms, cleaning and stocking, maintaining a safe hospital environment, and performing other veterinary assistant duties. Team members must be comfortable providing emotional support during sensitive medical situations and willing to cross-train to meet hospital needs. The job requires tolerance for unpleasant odors and noises, and potential exposure to bites, scratches, animal waste, and contagious diseases. Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Veterinary Receptionist or Veterinary Assistant in a veterinary setting
  • Compassionate, calm, team-oriented professional
  • Ability to multitask and communicate effectively with clients and coworkers
  • Comfortable supporting both front desk responsibilities and assisting the medical team
  • Highly organized with strong computer skills
  • Ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Self-motivated with a desire to continuously grow knowledge and develop new skills
  • Willingness to contribute to a collaborative hospital environment
  • Must be able to withstand unpleasant odors and noises
  • May be exposed to bites, scratches, animal waste, and potentially contagious diseases

Responsibilities
