About The Position

Wolftever Pet Wellness Group is seeking a Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist who understands the strong bond between pets and their families. This role involves providing exceptional client service while supporting both the reception and medical teams. Responsibilities include greeting clients and patients, managing phone calls and emails, scheduling appointments, processing check-ins and check-outs, handling payments, and answering client questions with compassion and professionalism. Additionally, the role requires assisting the veterinary team with patient restraint, preparing exam rooms, cleaning and stocking, maintaining a safe and organized hospital environment, and performing other veterinary assistant duties. Team members must be comfortable providing emotional support during sensitive medical situations and willing to cross-train to support hospital needs. The position requires the ability to withstand unpleasant odors and noises and may involve exposure to bites, scratches, animal waste, and potentially contagious diseases. Requirements

  • Veterinary Receptionist or Veterinary Assistant experience preferred, with a minimum of 1 year in a veterinary setting.
  • Compassionate, calm, team-oriented professional with the ability to multitask and communicate effectively with clients and coworkers.
  • Comfortable supporting both front desk responsibilities and assisting the medical team as needed.
  • Highly organized with strong computer skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Self-motivated with a desire to continuously grow your knowledge, develop new skills, and contribute to a collaborative hospital environment.
  • Must be able to withstand unpleasant odors and noises.
  • May be exposed to bites, scratches, animal waste, and potentially contagious diseases.
