About The Position
London Regional Veterinary Emergency and Referral Hospital is currently welcoming a full-time Client Service Representative to join their team. This is an exceptional full-time opportunity for an organized, motivated, and empathetic individual to join in a very important support role for the entire hospital. In this role, the representative will help clients and their pets feel welcomed and appreciated. Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills; a real aptitude for putting people at ease and creating a welcoming environment
- Strong communication and organization skills in a fast paced, ever changing environment
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks at any given time
- Willingness to learn more regarding; veterinary services, updated medical office procedures
- Willing to work days/evenings/late nights/weekends and holidays
Nice To Haves
- Previous customer service or front desk experience in hospitality
- Experience working with animals
Responsibilities
- Create a warm and welcoming environment for our patient and pet parents
- Ability to answer a multiline phone system
- Placing outbound calls to pet parents for follow-up when needed
- Respond and manage email correspondence; clients, referring veterinarians & internal office messages
- Admitting and discharging pet patients
- Invoicing/billing; obtaining pet owner confirmation and processing payments
- General housekeeping duties; cleanliness of reception area, pet holding areas and common areas
- Assisting the Veterinary staff with various tasks and treatments
