About The Position

Rye Harrison Veterinary Hospital is seeking a Full-Time Veterinary Practice Manager for their Rye Brook, NY location. This role involves providing leadership and structure to the veterinary team, including veterinarians, technicians, and support staff. The manager will work directly with hospital leadership, focusing on developing their management and leadership skills. A strong understanding of the veterinary industry and prior experience in hospital operations are essential. The responsibilities include leading with clarity, managing multiple priorities, and contributing to the hospital's excellence and the well-being of the animals.

  • 2+ years of management experience in a veterinary hospital, animal hospital, or medical practice setting preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations, with a primary focus on hospital growth initiatives.
  • Maintain team focus on client growth and retention activities (e.g., health reminder outreach, forward booking, rescheduling canceled appointments, Google reviews and online reputation).
  • Collaborate with Marketing Lead and Marketing partner to drive successful Marketing campaigns.
  • Ensure practice is offering premium, white glove experience to all clients.
  • Manage hospital operations in collaboration with Partner Doctors, Medical Director, and Operations Director.
  • Manage personnel including hiring, training, development, performance management, and resolution of staff conflicts.
  • Manage scheduling, inventory management, and administrative duties required to run the practice.
  • Guide and coach team members toward continuous improvement, maintaining a strong commitment to the client experience.
  • Demonstrate initiative in balancing the needs of both the business and the staff.
