Veterinary Practice Manager
About The Position
Hudson Vets is seeking a full-time Practice Manager to provide leadership and structure to our team of veterinarians, technicians, and support staff. With a solid understanding of the veterinary industry, and prior experience overseeing the clinics operations, you'll be responsible for leading with clarity, managing multiple priorities, and contributing directly to the ongoing excellence of the clinic and the well-being of the animals we care for. Hudson Vets is a brand-new small animal hospital opening in early 2027. This is a rare opportunity to help build a practice from the ground up alongside our founding Medical Director. You'll have a voice in shaping our culture, standards of medicine, workflows, and client experience while practicing in a beautiful, state-of-the-art facility designed for collaboration and future growth.
Requirements
- Previous management experience in a veterinary setting is required
- Experience executing clinical HR functions, including SOPs, evaluations, and disciplinary action.
- Ability to quickly learn and utilize our practice management system.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations, with a primary focus on personnel management, including hiring, training, and development.
- Manage Hudson Vets operations, including scheduling and inventory management.
- Guide and coach colleagues toward continuous improvement, maintaining a strong commitment to the client experience.
- Demonstrate initiative in balancing the needs of both the business and the staff.
