About The Position

County Line Veterinary Clinic is seeking a dedicated part-time or full-time Veterinary Assistant to join our team in New Braunfels, Texas. Join our team by applying now! YOUR SCHEDULE We proudly offer part-time and full-time hours between 7:15 am - 6:00 pm and an optional 4-day work week. YOUR DAY AS A VETERINARY NURSE As a Veterinary Nurse, your day starts by welcoming patients and ensuring smooth admissions. You work closely with our vets, assisting in exams and treatments with your technical skills and caring attitude. You also educate clients, helping them understand how to keep their pets healthy. Each interaction lets you make a real difference in the lives of animals and their owners, highlighting your vital role in our practice. Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience working as a veterinary technician
  • Proficient in basic veterinary procedures, including administering medications, placing catheters, surgical/sedation procedures, and taking blood samples
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with pet owners compassionately and professionally
  • A passion for working with animals and a commitment to providing high-quality care

Nice To Haves

  • A degree from an accredited AVMA veterinary technician program
  • An active TX license
