About The Position

Corio Veterinary Clinic is seeking an experienced, all-rounder Veterinary Nurse to join their team on a part-time basis (minimum 16 hours per week, 3-4 days). There is an opportunity for additional hours initially to cover maternity leave. The role involves assisting vets with procedures, anaesthetic monitoring, patient care, reception duties, nurse consults, and client communication. The clinic is described as a supportive, drama-free environment with modern facilities.

Requirements

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing with experience
• Confident across all areas of nursing, including anaesthetic monitoring
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment, are proactive & think on your feet
• A true team player who brings positive energy
• Comfortable across surgery, hospital & reception

Responsibilities

• Assisting vets with procedures (including radiology, blood draws, catheter placement)
• Anaesthetic monitoring & hospitalised patient care
• Reception, nurse consults & client communication
• Keeping the clinic neat, tidy, and running smoothly
